Art cooperation Drama ‘The Takasugi-san's Family's Bento’
At unico, we have provided art direction for the interior design of the home where Reiko Kayama, a character in the Chukyo TV and NTV drama "Takasugi-san's Bento," lives. Reiko belongs to the same geography research lab as the protagonist, Haru Takasugi.
The room features several unico items, including the IRULA covering sofa with its charming, plush fabric, the SOLK dining table with striking rattan shelves, and the ADDAY cabinet, which showcases the beauty of wood. These items are just some of the many used in the space.
The original work is a manga by Nozomi Yanagihara, who won the 2014 Japan Geography Award (Social Contribution Category). The heartwarming story follows Haru, a clumsy man who suddenly becomes the guardian of Kururi, a middle school student who has lost both of her parents. Through the "family taste" of homemade bento, the two form a deep bond. Be sure to check out the scenes featuring unico items while following the story's progress.
